got the new sparkplugs installed. stumble/rough idle is gone

here are the old plugs I pulled out. 100,000 mile plugs my butt! gap was on average 0.080...vice the 0.060 they were supposed to be if platinum tip, or 0.040 if they were iridium tip (most likely since they're cheapo AC Delco).

As far as I can tell, those were the stock plugs at 66,000 miles. Rubber boots were a major PITA to get off. I'm interested to see if I gain any MPG's back now. She's been getting about 15 MPG combined

btw, I put the new plugs back in at 0.040 per the TSB that was issued...which I cannot find at the moment. Basically it says that you use 0.060 gap for platinum tip plugs, and 0.040 for iridium tip plugs. Platinum burns hotter so you can have a bigger gap

Are the AutoLite wires acceptable replacements, or should I spring for the AC Delcos?

Check out the MSD wire set, they aren't much more than stock. The part number is 32829 for the set.

I went magnecore. I don't have the numbers sorry. I do remember I called them to make sure I was buying the right one and they were very helpful. I used the ngk platinum iridium plugs from rock auto.
