Do not ignore the importance of the shroud.
...
I can actually feel the breeze outside the grill of the air rushing in.

Ok, point made.
For the record, I can NOT feel the air moving into the grill by standing in front of it. :)

And I was wondering if the shroud would do anything or not. Seems it does! :D

Holy shit! Nice pic, know I understand what the TT means in your username! Have any quarter mile #'s? What are your 60' times?

Planning on getting to the drag strip, next Wednesday night. I expect to work on the 60' times with the new 4500 rpm TC, using 4 wheel drive. Should be interesting. :)

haha Del, looks sick!

Also, is it normal to feel warm air right outside the grille when the fans are on? i think one of mine is wired wrong. Ive always thought that from the beginning but these things still keep the temps down.. idk weird..

I can’t feel any warm air in front of the grill, only feel a breeze going in, nothing coming out. You should revisit that wiring.

I didn’t use any of Flex-a-lite’s wiring or controls. I did check polarity before hooking them to the relays to be sure they were pulling. I have a separate 40 amp relay on each fan. I plan on hooking up a “hi / low” switch at some point for one or two fans. I want a switch that selects, left, right or both. That way for the spring and fall, I can just run one fan and wear them evenly by switching the duties every other day, from left to right.

The Orange monster is looking good…………. :)

You are probably feeling radiant heat or the wind blowing some surface heat back at you.
