I thought the 1/2 year naming was reserved for cars that had a previous early model year that was labeled before it's time.
Kind of like the 2007 Tahoes that were built in the first quarter of 2006, and 2007 Tahoes that were built in mid 2007.

[/COLOR]Corvettes official debut is 1/13/13. It has been spotted in Chicago in camouflage. Chicago Auto Show is in February.
Yes it debuts right before the Detroit Auto Show. Get ready for sqaured tails likes the Corvette. GM is drunk on the success of the Camaro, which is slightly due to the Tranformers series.

I've seen the renderings of the C7. I'm not impressed.

I'm not sure I follow you in your logic for ½ model years. Are you referring to Classic labeled models such as the 2 different types of Tahoes for the 2007 when they had them on both the GMT-800 (Tahoe Classic) and GMT-900 models (Tahoe)?

In terms of the Cobalt SS. GM discontinued the SS Supercharged after MY2007 because the LSJ engine (supercharged 2.0) would not pass the stricter CAFE requirements. They just happened to have the LNF (turbocharged 2.0) that was based on the same family of engines. The car never got an update in looks. It was just a change in the engine for its top performance trim level.

Oh no. I am talking about how their are 2007 models that are not true to their year (basically released before the beginning of fall 2006), and then 2007 Tahoe that are true 2007 models built after September 2006, but before September 2007.
I don't know if that will make any more sense than my last explanation because it is hard to put in words.

Yeah my is also an 07 LT1, but it was built in March 2007. Maybe I have a 2007.5 if what I think of the 1/3 model years is correct.

I have heard that GM will more than likely be showing the '14 Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon at the Chicago Auto Show next week!
I also heard the '14 Escalade will be shown at the New York International Auto Show alongside the 2014 CTS. :licklips:
Anybody else hear anything different?
