Well we should know what all of them will look like shorthly. The Detroit and/or Chicago Auto Shows, or the time in between them should reveal all the new SUV models.

From what I hear Detroit might be too soon, Chicago is possible for the Tahoe and Yukon. Word is that the Escalade might not be shown till the LA show in late fall. Mostly going on some target dates for release set by GM: "General Motors North America President Mark Reuss said today that the automaker plans to deliver new sport-utility vehicles in early to mid-2014" http://www.freep.com/article/201212...rk-reuss-says-new-suvs-midsize-trucks-2014-gm

Hart to really tell when what will happen and where tho.

From what I have read in a few places, production of the SUVs and half ton trucks should start within the first 3 months of this year. The President may be bs'ing if he is saying they are not planned to start production until 2014. If they were coming that late they would be 2015 models.

I was also surprised to read that quote. However it could be that they are releasing the Tahoe and Yukon in fall of 13 as a MY14 and the Escalade in early 14 also as a MY14. I dunno.

That is true, but I do not see them delaying the Escalade by that amount of time. Typically, the Escalade is available on the lots 2-4 months after the Yukon/Tahoe. I know the trucks that debuted on Dec.13 will be available in dealers by late April at the latest. May not have a very large inventory though. I will be surprised if only the Corvette and the Silverado/Sierra are shown at the Detroit Auto Show.

I hope you're right ... otherwise I've been naked, lubed, and hopeful since yesterday for nothing. :(

You're talking about just yesterday. I have been in that state since last July!:emotions122:

I hope so. The wife and I have decided to attend the Chicago show. I would love to see them in person.

GM has done 1/2 model year vehicles as recently as 2008 with the 2008.5 Cobalt SS. It was the introduction of the turbocharged engine.

Corvettes official debut is 1/13/13. It has been spotted in Chicago in camouflage. Chicago Auto Show is in February.
