I did a good bit of research when I decided to go all the way and drop my truck as far as I could with a relatively low static drop. After looking into lots of parts, I found a good combo that I am very happy with. However, I did not look into this part very closely. I will be completely honest. I love the part and it has really taken a lot of shimmy and unwanted flex out of the vehicle. I did not realize that installing it would leave my e-brake cable loose. For that reason, I never developed a plan. I initially used zip ties to drive it around for the first few days and I've also tried different brackets off the Silverado with limited success and I wasn't sure what to do for a more permanent solution. Here is the first bracket I tried that didn't work as well as I had hoped:

I stumbled on this idea on another forum and figured I would give it a shot. I started with about $3 worth of parts from the local Home Depot: two (2) hose clamps in 3/4"-1 3/4" D and a foot of silicone tubing with a 1" inside diameter.

I forgot to get a tubing cutter so my cuts are very crude, but here's what I came up with:

They are just two non-slip "holders" to secure the cable. I don't anticipate a lot of movement while driving but whatever I do get should be minimal.

Just thought I'd share and maybe even provide an idea or two for anyone experiencing a similar problem. If anyone has any other suggestions or thoughts, feel free to contribute.

What angle to you want? I have a pic from the side, but you really can't see it. It basically bent toward the rear of the truck after a couple days. Anyway, just lmk what you need to see and I'll do my best to get a shot.

so you just put the tube around the spohn, then the clamp around the tube and ebrake cable, then secured?

Im kind of liking the other way, the brkt you sent me way.

Yeah, that's about the basic idea. The only thing I didn't like about the bracket was that the cable is designed to run along the panhard so when you attach it to the rear diff cover, it tends to bow out by the shocks. Since everything else on my truck is stock down to the exhaust, it started to rest against the tailpipe and would vibrate everything in the cabin with the engine after a short while. I'd still like to see how yours looks with those brackets installed since I feel like those could be a great solution as well.

Just for reference, I split the hose so I didn't have to pull the spohn off the truck to do the install.

Yeah, guess i didnt think about that. Im going to install it this weekend and i'll look and see how it goes and snap some pics for you. See if i can install maybe a diff. location or not. i dont have a exhaust tip, cut if off at that rear hanger angled down a little, so i will have to see how it goes.

Didnt think you would go through the trouble of taking it off, lol. If you did, more power to you. lol

I guess one from the very back showing left to right. I know on my passenger side the cable is touching the exhaust so I really need to do something soon.

I'll grab a pic tomorrow. I'm assuming you mean the bracket that's right by the pass rear shock and has the cable by the sway bar.

I'm not sure what you are referring to on that.... Right now I have mine zip tied along the panhard bar and on the passenger side it bows out at the exhaust and rubs on it. It might be inevitable due to how low I am which would require getting the exhaust routed differently.

Trace, I'm not sure which bracket you were talking about but I think this was it:

I removed it on mine and placed the cable on the inside of the sway bar link. I hope that makes sense. Here's a pic:

And this is the clearance I have so the cable is off the exhaust:

I hope these are what you're looking for and it helps.
