They just trick your PCM into thinking you are giving more throttle than you are. So if you give 25% throttle, it tells the PCM to open it 50%. A tuner can do the same, but it really isn't the best solution. If you want more power, you should look into cam/headers/blower, rather than wasting money on this.

I've installed sprint boosters they are exactly what Jenna said. They just make your pedal more sensitive. It can be dialed up or down 4 steps. It's snake oil. Don't waste your hard earned money. Get real performance mods or a tune.

It also gets rid of the lag. Scam? Snake oil? I'm thinking that since they do what they say, there's no deception here.

With a tune, it can leave a "trace" if you are worried about warranty. With this, you can simply remove hardware...in 2 minutes.

With this, you can adjust the sensitivity for slippery conditions...with a tune, you are stuck with whatever your tuner guy plugged in.

I cannot speak for the sprint version, but the vitesse works to my satisfaction. I am also looking into a custom tune, but will be looking for someone who will work with & around the throttle controller.

Tuners can also can also perform this function within a tune, no need for something separate.

It describes what it does as a performance change or a economy mode. That's why it's snake oil to me. Get a tune. Adjusting shift points and pressures will make you way more satisfied for you dollar.

knock it or try it. Vitesse was offering a 30d money back guarantee... at least when I bought mine just over a month ago, you can check with them. And no I did not send it back. When I get a custom tune (only running a canned tune via inTune... with adjusted shift points/pressure), I will plan on keeping it on the vehicle for the sake of INSTANTANEOUS on-the-fly adjustability ...nobody's tune can do that. I do dial it back for use on wet roads... and will have to for snow as well. Take a look over at camaro5.com for reviews.
