I had the engine replaced over 2 years ago with a GM 350. I had the brake booster(everything) replaced at that time. It was good yesterday on the way home, but this morning, it felt like i had no assistance whatsoever. I checked fluid/leaks/vacuum hoses/abs fuse. They're all good. It wouldn't catch till about 80% of the way down. What can this be?

Also, my power steering has been getting louder and louder the past week. SUPER whiny. Again, fluid looks full, but really dark and dirty. Will a simple fluid change help?

unknown at this time.
okay. whining pump mean busted vanes or air in the pump. being how it has bad fluid flush the system and see what happens. if you are luck the pump and gear will survive the nasty fluid.
