Dear friends, I have a problem with my stability control indicator in the dashboard. If it is very wet outside or I drive a mountain behind the information display shows service stability control. As soon as I drive back on straight road or even a mountain drive up the message does not come. It turns on when I drive down hill and then goes out by itself again.

Could it be that a sensor may be defective here? If so, someone could tell me the original GM parts number so that I can order and replace the defective part. The constant beeping when the message comes annoying huge. I live in a German region with a lot of mountains.

What I would like to mention is that I have read out two codes with my Tech2 diagnostic device.
C0625 and C0630 Left and Right Rear Position Sensor.
But I would like to say that the previous owner of this Tahoe 2007 had completely expanded the air suspension including the compressor. He told me that all the components were so vulnerable and he had invested unnecessarily much money that he replaced the whole chassis with normal springs and shock absorbers. This is only an info if it is important for you.

Thanks for your help

Markus

If he replaced the shocks with NON- autoride shocks, and it sounds like he did, then you need to look for resistors on the rear wiring that used to plug into the shocks and see if they have a bad/intermittent connection.

They would be up near the top of the rear shocks most likely.

Those codes appear to point to the ride height sensors which are part of the Autoride (air suspension). They are probably disconnected and need to have resistors attached instead if ihe sensors to eliminate error messages. I'm not familiar how to do that on your year but others here have done it.

Hello and good evening together,

Best regards to @Rocket Man and kbuskill ...
Yesterday I cleared all my error codes in the controller. Today I was able to reproduce these mistakes again. If the Tahoe shakes strong or I steer quickly back and forth, I also get this error.

The following error codes were then saved:
P0174 and P0171
Can you tell me something that triggers this error and how I can fix this possibly.
I do not hope that it has to do with my newly installed LPG plant. I had it installed 3 weeks ago. Maybe is a hose leaking or the like.

What would your experts say about that?

Thank you Greetings from Germany Markus

Usually might also be a warning of failing lifters so be on the lookout

something is making it run too lean unless both sensors are crapping out at the same time, what is the mileage?

When I read it, I thought liquid propane gas... but I figured he would elaborate
Yeah I figured that much but I know nothing about whether an engine that runs on LPG is a completely different engine or is it some sort of retrofit. I mean, he said it was a "newly installed plant" whatever that means lol.

I know that just about any engine can be converted to run it but his wording definitely left us all a little in the dark.
