Staggered Tires?

Because it's a noticeable difference and serves absolutely no purpose.

Is it that obvious if you look at one tire than another, no. But is it when the tires are on the same truck, yes.

Leave well enough alone, IMHO.

The only real problem I can see is the centrifugal force that increases as wheel speed increases. The force will cause a wider tire too vary its circumfrance and expand in the direction of the rotational force (outward towards the road). As long as you're not running 4wd or rotating the tires from front to back you might be okay with running 295s up front and 305 in the rear. However, if you are merely looking for an exterior staggered look, why not get a small spacer for the rear wheels. Btw, it's not my preference. I think supercharged is right about the look, unless you get the Z71 fender flares available through GM Accessories. Then it gives it more of a natural look, but you'd probably want to install on the front too.
