This guy did it this way on his and it worked good, it's soft but it seems that it isn't too excessive. I'm using add-a-leafs also on the springs, in case they sag too much I'll just order a set of new front springs from summit.

It's one of the U-Pull-It Junkyards.

I still wouldn't use s10 springs. The chances of them wearing out too quick is very high. Why buy twice?

I also doubt the $190 dana 60. The price list might say $190 for a front axle but when you cart up a dana 60 the price is going to jump. They tend to do that on valuable stuff. They will also charge you for all the other parts like tie rods, tie rod ends, rotors, calipers, brake pads, brake lines, u joints, driveshaft, etc. They are jews.

depends on who's working at our u-pull-it yards up here. sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you get fuked and they charge you for every little piece. only been getting worse.

have had my eye out for front and rear axles. have seen a ton of 14bff'ers but not any D60's.

still don't see how the front of that truck won't crush a set of S10 springs... have a set of them in the garage right now for the sonoma and theres no way in hell i would even consider them for even mock up on the Hoe.

So I wasn't able to go buy the axle because somethings came up with our suburban and had to fix that plus our lovely engineering professors decided to give projects during the vacation to turn in first thing on Monday.
I'm still planning on buying one as soon as my paycheck gets here.

I also doubt the $190 dana 60..
I called and told them all I needed and that's what they quoted me for.

The factory ratio for an h2 is 4:10-1.
Also I just picked up another axle out of a 79 f250 for 300 bucks for my wifes Tahoe.
