It certainly would be easier. Remmaned unit are available for $200. And individual parts are available for DIY repair.

just looked at the repair bill which included a flush of the system and oil change so its not so bad

This is wierd. Sunlit, I noticed that when I was reading the thread, your images are different than what is being explained. Then when I replied, it's the right images. Now its something totally different than the first time. Hah.

If a do a direct copy (which is so faster) instead of making a pdf of repair sheet then publish to my server then publish link here it does this. The posted pic address is directly from repair data server and it rotate images regularly with the same url address. The attachment size limit for pdf is 19.5kb so I could not even attach a blank pdf with that size limit. Waiting to hear from admins if they will lift the pdf size limit. If that happens I can post all kinds of goodies for you guys. Think gobs of stickies.

Thanks guys. I wonder if I should just replace it. I can't honestly remember how long it has been6 years I think.

I wonder how much of a pain in the ass it is to change out.

the big blue bus,
Have you had an alignment lately? How is the air presure in your tires?
I replaced everything accept for my ball joints. I still have steering issues. Hopefully, this will resolve my problem. I'm going to replace my ball joints and lower steering shaft while I'm doing this. That along with my spindles

im waiting to get it aligned after i get the leveling keys in and get the 35s mounted. it may help but theres so much slack when i grab the shaft by hand and can move it
