Steering in 4 wheel drive

ok this is driving me nuts. When 2001 Tahoe is in 4 wheel and I turn wheel all the way to left or right truck doesn't move just kind of stutters. I e changed front and rear diff fluid S well as transfer case, can anyone please help??

doesn't make any noises at all but if i turn wheels , truck will not move

Does it move in 4wd going straight with normal turns?? It should stutter on pavement in 4wd at full lock

Yes straight normal turns works ok

But after I do a couple sharp turns its like the front wheels lockup and I had to put it back in 2 wheel

I did hear a tiny humming when I turned but pretty sure that was power steering pump

Sorry just test drove it again you're right it's only when making sharp turns. So you saying this is normal???

It is normal and also very bad to use 4x4 on dry pavement. When you do it you`re going to break your truck. The stuttering you feel is the driveline binding up. 4x4 should only be used on dirt mud or snow where the front tires can slip.
