steering noise

I just noticed this the other day. When I turn my wheel to the left while driving it makes a noise. Kind of like a humming noise. It never made any kinds of noise before.

What could this be?

noisy pump? or a loose steering part vibrating.

I dont hear any loose parts. Its a humming sound. It only makes that sound when turning left.


I have looked around and have seen people having the same issues saying its the wheel bearing.

put a microphone near it and the steering gear and the pump and see what you pick up.
