1999 GMC Yukon 4WD, in need of pitman arm, and most likely steering box, what brand of replacement parts have folks had success with, or what to stay away from?

I've used Moog for years but there's no telling who is making the parts, where they are made or if they are good. look on Rock Auto and see what they list as the better quality.

Agreed, I’ve had no complaints with Moog Problem Solver. They may make a lower tier line, so the problem solver is the one you’d want.

As for a steering box, Redhead and Bluetop tend to get good reviews. I’ve used both with no issue. They’re remanufactured in one of the Dakotas I think.

Any parts store reman sourced overseas is going to be hit or miss…mostly miss. There are now companies that sell new boxes, but I’ve never used one.
