Looking to replace my existing stock non-cd delco with a pioneer aftermarket deck, not too familiar with this tahoe its an 02, how do i go about getting the old unit out and putting the new unit in, thanks

The trim that goes around the instrument panel and radio is snapped into place. All you have to do is use a plastic pry tool and pull it towards you to unsnap and remove it. Then the radio has a clip on each side that you press down and then slide forward to remove. You'll need an antenna adapter, dash kit, and wire harness adapter for your new deck. Metra's part numbers are 40-GM10, 99-2003, and 70-1858 respectively. Installation is opposite of the removal. The dash kit will have instructions on how to install the deck into the kit.

99-3002 is the correct dash kit for an 02.. the 99-2003 is for 03-07.
That's correct. I didn't realize I had the numbers backwards. Good catch. You'd think after 22 yrs of installing I'd know,lol.

got everything hooked up and it sounds good, i bridged the rockford fosgate amp 2x200 to power my 12 Koiler sub 500w max, hope thats enough power for that sub?
