Take a 23 Tahoe in Sterling Grey photo….mentally change the nameplate and…Done!
Same for pretty much all colors…..same pigment just different names as a marketing tool to try and get customers to pay more for the same product by just giving it a fancy title. If you parked a 23 Tahoe and Yukon side by side….one sticker will say Sterling Grey…….GMC calls it Sterling and Chevy calls it Sterling Grey. Take the Grey part out of the title and sounds more distinguished.
Black another perfect example….Chevy…Black….GMC. “Onyx Black”
The only thing worse than charging a premium is the customers that fall for it.
With that said……It is not like you are going to be able to negotiate and lets say…..Send back this Sterling to Arlington, have them repaint and re title as Sterling Grey and get the ”Premium Color” Selection fee removed.
