I love the ideas that come up on TYF each day. Guess I'm too OEM or conservative on some things, but appreciate the thought and creativity.

Yeah there are 2 heater vents as you can see here.

Was the same way in my 2500HD. It originally came with the jump seat and I bought the ducting that goes under the front seats and put that in when I first switched to the center console. It worked out too because even though I had bought a Bose console when I did my full interior swap from a donor truck with the JL Stealthbox you can't use the center console vents like the Bose trucks have.

Basically if you want to switch up to a center console it'll only cost you a few bucks to get one of the ducts and it just pushes into place on the floor under the carpet. I also opted not to buy the glove box that matches the center console and cut mine to fit saving about $100 and it looks/fits better than the OEM one does.
