I have talked to a couple local locksmith places and both told me that this needs to be done at the dealer. Has anyone actually had a 2023 yukon fob reprogrammed at a locksmith?

they probably just don't have the tool "yet" check around more

Yes. Good recommendation. Did that. Bought one online $50. Reprogramming appointment for Thu $90. Dealer wanted $550 all in.

OK update here: I bought the fob on line at Amazon for $50 (dealership wanted $300+). I had it programmed at a local locksmith for $90 (dealership wanted $200). I am happy!

I lost a fob to my '16 Tahoe LTZ. Bought a replacement on eBay for cheap, and programmed it myself using the procedure in the owner's manual. So, now my fob shows up as "driver #3", and the seat, pedal, steering and mirror presets don't recognize it.
Oh, well. I did save a bunch of money after all.
But it sure would be nice to have my pre-sets back again.
