Decided to build a storage box for the back of my Tahoe. Made it level with the back seats folded so its almost like a flat bed. I also cut it 60/40 so I can have the seats up independently if I wanted. So when the seats arnt in use thats are usually folded.

can you get a full size mattress in there?

How heavy and easy is it to remove? What kind of wood?

Ha no idea about mattress. Its built with 3/4 ply and 3/4 DFB for the top. I placed handles on it in case I had to move it but plan on just leaving it as is. I would say it weighs between 50 and 75 pounds
