chistoso, that is awesome of you. and mob, great of you to raise money for the guy. he deserves it. i have been involved in many forums, mostly fbodies. you guys are the most stand, nicest group of all of them.

We got a guy thought was overseas doing for his country, so we could be here driving our trucks, only to come home and have his taken before he really got to enjoy it in person. I just hope we can get a hold of him so he can work something out with Chistoso.

Man I remember when he was planning, and when stuff got done his mom would send him pics so he could see it. hahaha. Sad that it happened to Coop.

Wow, what a story here.

Life always seems to throw curveballs at us, and this was one big one!

Glad all is working out for you, and again thats a generous act your trying to do.

Best of luck to you.

the world would be abetter place if everyone acted in this way.

once an axle goes bad it will be hard as shit to get it to align back perfectly once a replacement is made.

Axle swap isn't an issue on these trucks, I've installed several on these trucks without any problems.

Damn, i wish i was closer to AZ. If i lived out that way i'd be happy to load it up on my trailer and tow it for ya...

I have a ****** tandem axle trailer I've had for a while. I really don't trust the tires on it for a trip that long but I'll get a new set on it on Monday and grease up the hubs, should be good to go.

The trailing arms look a lil twisted too but I was looking thru CL and found one for $200 in the PHX area and the guy will throw in the trailing arms for $50. Should be a direct bolt in.. Coming off a 00 Burban At least to get the wheels on it..

Believe me guys, this is not an easy fix, look worse than the pics so it's gonna take some time and work to get it up and running. At least it wont be a salvage title on it.. If anything, another stock Hoe with a bad drivetrain can be had for cheap and just transfer everything off this one. I was contemplating this and it would probably be a better bet.. The engine is almost brand new, always ran premium fuel and used synthetic lubricants.. How much can a non running Tahoe with a good straight body cost anyway? 3-4k We can buy it, transfer the parts and make up for the expense selling off the unused parts.... I don't know..
