Like the title says, I'm getting a random growling or grinding sound from a small perforated circle above the driver's seat on the headliner. Does anyone know what that thing is for? I would think it would be for a bluetooth unit or similar, but I know that my truck is not equiped with that feature... So, I'm stumped. It doesn't do it every time I start the truck, but when it does sound, it is right when I first start and sounds for about 30 seconds and then stops. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

More than likely the brushes or bearings are bad inside. It has a fan that circulates the cabin air to check the temp. Not sure if it's bad or not. Mines been making noise since we bought it

You can remove it and take an air compressor and LIGHTLY blow air into it and around it. It could just be dirty
