Yes do the idler bracket assembly at the same time.

I would do bushings while you are there. It's the same amt of work to tear it down to that point. No sense in doing it twice.

Idler bracket attaches top the frame and the idler arm upper end attaches to it.

T the age of your truck bushing would probably help. I have a bushing kit from energy suspension that has leaf spring, front sway, body and c-arm bushings ready to go in as I work in those areas. Unless your arms are bent or deformed in any way just leave them alone.

If your upper arm hardware looks like this you already have the alignment kit on there.
