Ok so this is really for the 550 but i figured i lived in this part of the audio section for so long this is where to come back to ask a question..

The Logic7 system in my car has
4 tweets (high in the doors)
7 5s (4 doors, 2 on the rear deck one in the dash)
2 8.5s under the front seats..

And it sounds amazing and actually beats a lil.. but obviously i need a sub.. but for the first time in my life i DONT need tight poppy bass.. i have that in the 8s and ungodly amount mids and highs....

So im in new territory here.. and need help.. i wanna do a 15+ speaker.. i want it as close to 20hz as possible.. i want it to require no more than 1000rms and i want it all to fit in a box no larger than 5 cubes including sub displacement (3x2x(1-''6)) with the base of the box 1 foot deep and the top about 6 inches.

And i dont wanna spend more than $400 on the sub itself.

i dont really wanna hear it so much as i want it to pick up where the 8s drop off and provide all the silent , low end vibrations and stuff the 8s cant.

So.. hit me with some sub ideas... i was lookng at the BlackAir , the Power T2, the RE.. CV stroker15...but honestly.. i have NO idea..

If you need help with some shit that will provide SQ hit me up.. lol.. but i have sq i just need some rumble.. the only time i ever wanted something loud sloppy and between 15 and 18 was when me and your girlfriend went to camp together ;) so im a little untrained at this kinda module in a system.

RE MX18 plays at 17 hz :)

Recommended Enclosure:

* Sealed Compact: 3.0cf
* Sealed Optimal: 4.0cf
* Ported Compact: 5.0cf tuned @ 35Hz
* Ported Optimal: 7.0cf tuned @ 34Hz

Or even the MX15 plays at 20hz

Im leaning towards the RE-MX series now....

Josh, curious, why so low? Most subs will play 80-100hz and lower, but for one, 20hz you will need sealed. Sealed, big motor, heavy cone, big mass, means more power.
I think a small sealed 15" is plenty, no need for an 18"....

just cause i really dont wanna add extra sound as much as i wanna enhance what i have.. im thinking running the MX18 or MX15..... sealed , ported, 15 or 18.. are all questions i dont have answers too.. and im not 100% sold on the MX series if someone has a batter idea...

Having that one big ass 18 in the trunk.. has a little bit of wow factor too it too..

you wont be able to run the 18 bc of mounting depth issues

i am willing to give up some space im gonna measure today on my actual WORST case scenerio box.. aka the most amount of room ill give up. but assuming mounting depth isnt an issue only cubes is lets keep the 18 in the game.

The Fi SSD is a good small sealed, you wont be able to do ported playing down to 20hz.
Woofer will unload, loose any control playing below frequency tuning, and will damage sub.

Sealed, when you want really low bass is better.

FI SSD 15's, 1.50-2.50 sealed
Kicker Solo Classic 15's 1.25 to 1.75
either of those would work perfect with 1000 watts.

decided on a new body RF t2-15 with...

2000w Autotek (recommended by SMD and benched at 2400rms at 14.4@1ohm) and a 1.5 farad cap for just incase.. in a ported box (that i only have to give up 1 foot off the backseat of trunk space to get 3.1 cubes) tuned to 27hz
