If you want to keep from tearing up the carpet I agree with the velcro idea. Go to walmart and get the industrial strenght velcro in the paint and tape section i believe should be a 10 pound test and do long strips on the front and rear edge of the box should work great. If you want to make it permanent get some small L brackets from a hardware store and screw them to the floor with small self tapping sheet metal screws and place in between the L brackets and you can get it to move

the system is a beast lol but i went to ace and got some L brackets and screwed them to the front of the box and and screwed the other into the plastic trim piece untill i go get this piece of wood cut for it and screwed a eye hook in to the back of the box and chained it and padlocked it to the cargo restraints on the floor and then did donuts and driving real fast that thing aint goin no where thanks fo all the help guys will post pics later

If your box is carpeted, it shouldnt do any sliding. if it does, then any of the above should work for you.

a non permanent alternative would be that rubber drawer lining, that you can find in walmart or anywhere else. It would never move, but it wouldnt mess up your carpet or put holes in your truck.
