About six months ago I upgraded my burb for Christmas. I used KMC XD Monster wheels 18 X 9 ET18 offset with Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/65/R18 I used the CCM leveling kit, and have no rubbing at all. The ride is smooth and the tires are super quiet for what they are.

Thanks Scott

Hey Scott - Thanks for sharing, I just love the look of your setup! I just bought a 2007 Suburban with some gaudy 22 inch chrome wheels on it and am looking for something different and am consiering the same stup you have. After running this wheel/tire combo for a while do you have any regrets or any changes you would make? I'm thinking of maybe 275s instead of 285s and the +35 offset so the tires are tucked in a bit more. Would you recommend any of these changes to your setup? Have you had any clearance issues since? Also, how have the Nitto Terra Gappler's wore? Lastly, as far as the leveliing kit, did you just do the front and how much did you lift to level?

Thanks man!

Nice lighting to the op. would love to see more pics at diff angles.

MNS, I recommend you also consider going with a lower offset 18" wheel (~15-18+) and 285s or 295s with either the Toyo AT2s in LT sizing or Goodyear Duratracs. I think it's weird to have a tucked in or flush look when you go with a lift. A lil bit of poke gives it a meaner stance, imo. gl

Thanks for the advice, I totally agree. I'm not planning on lifting it, just a front leveling kit with 285 65 18s with a 9 inch wide wheel. I would like to make it have a bit meaner stance but the wife says NO :bawl:

Decided to go with 18 inch Raceline Rampage Wheels (+25 offset) and 275 65 18 Terra Grapplers so I could stay away from E load tires. I think it's a good balance between what I wanted and what my wife would allow :console:.

Looks good...have you considered ditching the chrome handles / mirror covers?
