1 That looks like a very involved install.
2 what happens if you don't turn off the noise canceling?
3 what size sub is it?
4 I don't see why this wouldn't work in an Escalade.

The escalade has other components in this location that would prevent the sub from fitting properly even with the relocation brackets. - In the Denali I had to remove the lug wrenches and put them in rear storage door attached to the third row.

I'm trying to remember what else is in there. I've had that opened before to take measurements for a flat JL audio sub. I definitely want more bass, but from what you've saying I may have to stick with my original plan of the flat JL sub.

I have not noticed this thus far, I'll be on the lookout for it as I did not have my noise cancellation turned off or reprogrammed.

It is an 8" sub, it also does NOT fire toward the passenger side of the vehicle when installed. it fires toward the drivers side with minimal space, but it does have just enough for woofer excursion.

Definitely interested in your feedback as you get some miles of listening in. Curious to see how it affects the noise cancellation or if you hear any audible effects.

Nice, I've been looking for something. Any issues yet with feedbak due to the noise cancellation? Windows open? Anyone know how to tell if you have the noise cancellation in a Yukon Denali?

Install complete today. First some perspective. I had a 2002 Tahoe with 8volt eclipse head unit and amps, JL sub and MB Quart component speakers. It was a solid setup that had some serious punch. The stock Denali setup was pretty good in the upper range but of course lacked low end rumble. The kicker sub after only about half an hour of listening does provide the missing low end that the system desperately needed. I imagine as the sub breaks in it will only get better.
As stated in the other review, this unit will not rattle the windows out but it does vibrate the rear view mirror a bit and compliments the stock Bose system well.
I would recommend the VOX app as it is CarPlay compatible and allows you to play FLAC files would sound much better than the standard MP3 files.

A side note, Kicker now lists their part number for this kit on their site and another kit with the sub and additional amp/dsp. Part #PSUTA15. No instructions yet as it is not yet released.
