Suggestions for true dual

If you want duals on a 2 door, you'll have to get a custom job. No company will manufacture a set of duals for a 2 door because of the lack of clearance on the driver's side due to the fuel tank. I got a custom set of duals done for a little over 200 bucks at a local exhaust shop.

Well, if you're going with dual exhaust, I suggest going full tilt. Will require a muffler shop, unless you know someone who can weld and mandrel bend exhaust tubing. A set of headers, into an X-pipe (if you want optimal performance) or an H-pipe (if you want optimal sound), then into (if you like it loud, and drone doesn't bother you) a pair of Dynamax Bullet mufflers (BTW, this set up will NOT pass emissions, and you will need to have a tuner to tune out your PCM), if you'd rather something more quiet I would still finding a set of Dynamax mufflers to suit your needs, and then either dump before the axle, or finish plumbing out the back with some tips of your choosing.

This is what I have planned for mine, but I am dumping before the axle. If it's not the loudest or most obnoxious, it's not mine! Hahahaha!

Well i am definitely going to a muffler shop that does custom exhaust. On my 4dr i had dual done, but I'm sure there is quite a bit more room to work with. I used Flowmaster 44s for that. Figured I'd test the waters before i did it this time

Flowmaster is good for sound, but that's about it. If you want less restriction, better fuel economy, and a little power, then I would suggest Dynamax, Magnaflow, and ******. You could probably be happy with only replacing mufflers. Obviously, headers, delete the cars (and be warned . . . a muffler shop cannot legally remove them, but if you remove them, they CAN install the exhaust system without cats), H-pipe (better for sound), and a pair of those mufflers I just mentioned would give you the best sound possible. I would YouTube some Tahoes/Yukons with those brands of mufflers to make sure you like them, whichever way you decide to build your system.

I still have my cats, and a pair of those restrictive Flowmaster mufflers. They will be gone once I take care of some other issues.

Is there a certain MagnaFlow muffler you'd recommend? That's been the most recommended so far.

BORLA! Sounds good on acceleration and pretty quiet on highway. No sound like Borla. IMO. =-)

I don't know of any specific Magnaflow that would sound good. I just know that they do sound good behind any V8. It also depends on whether you want a cat-back or just mufflers to build your own system.

I'm going back with Dynomax Bullets.
