They generally are around 6-8 psi with a procharger. They are also typically not plug and play. Sometimes requiring different injectors brackets fuel pressure regulators and a tune to run correctly. If you only have the procharger itself it would be much simpler to find a full kit and do it yourself rather than having a shop figure out what else it needs to run it and doing the tune.

I was curious on trying to find how the tube system ran to procharger like meaning which outlet do you run to the throttle body because it seems set up almost backwards with the center outlet running to the throttle body and the outer outlet to the airfilter

It's not really a supercharger but it's also not really a turbo. Kind of a wierd setup to begin with but for those only ever looking for that 6-8 psi of boost. It also doesn't require the amount of work as a supercharger or turbo setup and doesn't generate the intake heat as a turbo. Hence why most procharger kits have the option of with or without an intercooler.

You're right it is some sort of mix between the 2. It has straight splines and the pulley directly spins the splines no other gears involved. Seems more closer to a turbo that's belt driven

Procharger made successful transplant into 92 mustang 5.0 bored .30 over, new piston + rings, pro comp cam with rollers, gt40 intake, 24lb injectors. Starts and runs fine but think it might new slightly bigger injectors or a BAP. Waiting on new tube system with a blow off vavle
