Alright, I have a 03 tahoe without hydraboost and wanted to upgrade to 07 and up 13 inch rotors, the truck just doesn't stop like my NNBS silverado. I found some GM calipers with the bracket that's a direct bolt on (part#19176793 & 19176794) and was planing on running the powerstop K2069 kit that includes both rotors and pads, but my question is will this improve braking power even though I don't have hydraboost? And if it doesn't any suggestions without spending $1500-up on a big brake kit? Also the truck has 164k miles, would flushing the brake fluid help any, I've herd ppl say it will and some say it won't? Thanks!

yes, it will significantly improve your braking performance.

Keep your eyes open on performance trucks.net and all of the GM fullsize forums.
From time to time complete PNP hydroboost systems pop up forsale.

They average 150$ for complete kit, or hit a JY and get all the parts you need.

It makes a big difference, It`s one of the best mods i`ve done. If you do the swap get some stainless braided lines to replace the stock rubber ones.

Awesome! Thanks guys! I will be doing this ASAP then. Sucks I didn't know about this sooner cause I bought the powerstop kit for all 4 corners about 6 months ago thinking it would make a difference, but it didn't:(
