Anyone look into this?..Wondering if the Tahoe Hybrid spoiler and applique's fit the regular tahoes? They look more "streamlined" if you will....

They will not fit.

Attachment points are completely different and so is the shape where they join with the d pillar appliqués.

There's no way to do it unless you want to swap the whole liftgate assembly.

Alright ...
did a little homework on this...
and my conclusion is that they will fit. They also appear to have the "line" that the esky appliques have. The "line" would obviously look the best with esky G5 tails. The best part is that they are almost half the cost of the esky appliques, $50.00 or so from gmpartsdirect. The only question is the connection point by the upper spoiler/3rd brake area. The Hybrid has a "wrap around" spoiler. It looks like if you have the esky spoiler/3rd brake lamp mod these will blend in the best.
Will add pics when done...

Jeremy, unless I misunderstand what you are trying to do, you are mistaken, I promise you ... I went through all this on my Hybrid.

There is NO way to interchange the 3rd brake spoilers, the Hybrid appliques are completely different shape than both the esky and base appliques and only line up properly with the Hybrid tails and 3rd.

Just so you understand ... the base and esky spoilers attach to the liftgate and through the glass. On the Hybrids, that glass doesn't separate independently from the liftgate, it is permanently attached to it and Hybrid spoiler isn't fastened to the glass. And the bolts to the liftgate are in different locations.

here, this is what happens when you mix a non hybrid shaped tail to hybrid appliques:

What about swapping my Yukon hybrid third for an esky hybrid third? Will that fit?

No, for the same reason it won't work.

The Esky Hybrid and the Denali Hybrid have the same type of spoilers as the non hybrid trucks, the base yukon and tahoe hybrids have their own unique spoiler which can't be swapped.

This looks like a G4 tail lamp?..no?...What if you have the esky tails?...The dealership tonight had a 3 models side by side...hybrid---reg tahoe---and esky....Here is what i want to do..
Use esky 3rd (that i got from you) then Hybrid appliques and finsh it off with Esky G5's.

Ya..unique it sure is. At the ends by the appliques the spoiler looks to almost "wrap around" them.

It is 100% impossible to do this.

1. As I posted in the first side by side pic, the top of the hybrid applique is a LOT wider on top, it tucks under the hybrid spoiler which is shaped differently at the edges. It won't fit, you probably won't be able to open the glass part of the liftgate, and it would stick out like a sore thumb.

2. The only difference tween the G4 and G5 tails is the pleat, they still have the same general dimensions, and you'll get the same gap as in the second pic.

But why are you even considering this when the natural part tween the esky spoiler and the G5s is the esky appliques?
