Tahoe PPV shocks

I have just purchased a 2014 Tahoe PPV (Police package) and the ride is pretty rough. Will regular tahoe front shocks work on the police package? I am wanting to make the ride not so stiff.

I believe it is struts up front and shocks in the back... I feel your pain I go through the same thing with my ppv suspension, what I'm doing is swapping out the springs for stock Springs and replacing the rear shocks with bilstein 4600s

Yes you are right. I just have the habit of referring to shocks and struts, as just shocks.

Does putting in stock springs raise the height?

Can you run non PPV struts on a PPV Tahoe? Are they the same size?

Upon some research it appears the front struts are the same as regular tahoe's but the rears are not.

My wife lifted her truck and got new struts so I have her barley used struts that will be going on my Tahoe. I will update on how that worked.

Bring up this oid thread agin.

I am in the processing replace my 07 PPV 4-courner struts and shocks. Checked internet, the only aftermarket direct replacement is Monroe's. Personally, I perfer to Bilstein 4600 series shocks.

Question to BEEMDUB:

Is it possible just throw-in Bilstein struts and shocks without changing springs?
