Tech 2 scanner

Needing a tech 2 scanner but I was wondering if the icon t7 or t8 would be able to do the same thing. I’ve tried looking around but can’t find any info. If I buy something I’d like to be able to use it on other vehicles so wanna get something versatile otherwise I’ll just see who has a tech2 around me. Main things I’m needing done now is to program my bcm, turn some feature on and change the vin so my radio works.
