9 out of 10 times that I have a GM product in the shop for a coolant leak, it is because someone at some point added regular coolant to their DexCool. Idiots at quick oil change shops can damage your car faster than any "crappy" product can. I have been running Dex in my truck for a long time and the only coolant leak I have had was caused by a rock going through my radiator.

FYI: From the lawsuit
Consumers who bought or leased certain 1995-2004 model year GM vehicles with 3.1-liter, 3.4 liter, 3.8-liter, or 4.3-liter engines are eligible for the reimbursement for Dex-Cool related engine repairs that occurred within seven years or 150,000 miles, whichever is earlier, of original vehicle purchase, according to the law firm.

This was last year, so dont go trying to get money.
Notice what engines it is for though. Just my 2 cents
