I bought it right around the time Chevy was closing dealerships down, i am pretty sure they don't sell GM anymore. It was Todey Chevrolet in Oxnard, CA.
When purchasing a vehicle out of state, you don't pay taxes to the dealer. You pay taxes once you get the vehicle and go to register it in your home state. This was HUGE. I think CA had like 8% sales tax, where NC doesn't charge a sales tax on the purchase of their vehicles, but they do charge a 3% HUD tax ($ put into a Highway Maintenance Fund).
