That is SO true. All the 'little' things that are required to complete the audio system installation add up to quite an astounding number of dollars.

Did you end up getting those Q Logic kick panels?

I still have a tape deck unit in mine....
Did trade the broken CD player for a more useful shelf though.

I spend most of my time with it trying to get the weblink to work. So far it has pissed me off way more than it has made me happy

I thought of adding a double DIN android stereo for backup camera and interwebs (work provides a hotspot).
But that’s more $ than I wanna spend on a truck that’s month to month lol. Right now I’m back to loving it but stay tuned in the Engine section for the next SNAFU
