They should've. Some people actually like the 5.3's better then the 6.0's. I don't get it.

Maybe there’s more 5.3s to be had than 6.0?.. I mean, if you’re leaving your 4L60e, I get it, cuz the 6.0 will rip it to shreds

6.0's are def more expensive.

5.3's are way more common for sure.

Old buddy used to have an S4 with that 4.2 and a 6 speed I think. Nice car however it was surprisingly slow. Still faster than most modified trucks.
