Thermostat replacement

Confused about what? I replaced thermostat cuz i temp gauge would drop to 0 and fans would come on. Replaced ECT and problem came back. Everyone said replace thermostat and that would fix it, so thats what i did.

....but it says you hook it to radiator cap....So how would that work on mine?

You'd do it on the surge tank. I think they're a waste of money for these systems.

I did not....but i only thought that was necessary if you dont have a code reader to clear stored codes?

I asked because sometimes (not always) when the battery is disconnected the hvac actuators may goof up
