Third brake light positive wire color

Problem

The problem is I see a large group of wires above the headliner as it goes into the rubber conduit going to the hatch. It could have brake light, rear wiper, and rear defrost wires. CMatt is checking on it for me.

gotchya, I haven't dug that far back for the tail lights, I have just seen the 2 pin connector up at the back of the housing

Looks like it’s violet with a white stripe. You can look for that one in the main harness and then check with a test light or dvm.

All I can say is that’s obnoxious. I hate those things. I used to ride Harleys and we would ride in groups. One guy had one of those on his bike, and he was always made to ride in the back because everybody hated his brake light. There’s already plenty of things other drivers do that drive me crazy, no need to add to the list.
