Order has been in the system for a little over 1.5 years as of today.... Dealer called saying they are ready to accept the order last week but mentioned that their terms have since changed and they will be enforcing a $3000 dealer markup. Talk about a horrible feeling. I told them to go and shove it straight up their rear end and walked. At this point I'm lightly shopping the pickup trucks although I think I'm going to give up for the summer as it is. The trucks have become a much much better value now that the supply/demand curve for them is favoring buyers anyway.
Todd Wentzel is the dealer btw if anyone was wondering. Oh and they have generally refused to give me back my $500 deposit when ordering it so far, so I have to go up there and start arguing with them to get it back when I get time to.

That's my plan. 2024 will probably be a pick up truck. Then we will replace our SUV with a full size SUV in 2026-2027.

I would hope all full size manufacturers are able to meet demand by then.

I placed my order for a Yukon XL Denali Reserve with 3.0 back in February which is hopefully closing in on completion. Timeline below:

Order Placed: 2/8/23
Order Accepted by GM: 4/14/23 (TPW 5/8/23)
Latest update: 5/10 Still stating this is TPW but no additional info provided.

Hoping for an update soon that it was built and on a train!

I feel for you, but that is hysterical (dealer wise) in this economic environment. I ordered a few weeks ago at supppier pricing. Supply is up, interest rates are horrible. Zero reason folks should be buying over msrp.

FINALLLYYYYYYYY

I had a build out with a regional dealer since Sept of 2022 and although they claimed to have an allocation, nothing ever popped with them. I've gotten so frustrated since my build has NOTHING on it except ACC and Sunroof (no wheels, no running boards, no trailering - nothing) that I decided to submit a build with a local volume dealer on 4/18/23 and it hit immediately.

Local Dealer

4/18/23: Build submitted

5/3/23: Build Accepted by GMC

5/5/23: 3000 - Accepted forproduction

5/12/23: 3300 - TPW 5/22/2023.

Ordered 3/11. At the dealership today. 5/13. It’s the wife’s car. Happy mothers day. Tahoe premier. 6.2 most of the options. Picking it up Tuesday. Eastern Massachusetts. Feels like the old days. Order a car. Get it in 2 months. Ish.

Slated to get mine next week as well! Dealer stated 5/24 ETA and they said transport has been pretty reliable as of late.

Hello everyone,
I’m a new user and came across this forum. I ordered a 2023 Tahoe RST with the 3.0 duramax on 5/2/2023. It was accepted by GM on 5/11, but as of now I still don’t have a TPW. I checked the status with the Chevy online chat and it says “your order has been accepted by GM and is moving toward the production process”. How long does it generally take to get a TPW?

My dealer said the entire process averages 8-12 weeks, but he’s been seeing things starting to arrive sooner.

I just type "agent" in the chat window and it'll get you to a human. That was the way I found our TPW.
