hey i have a technical question for some of you who may have a throttle body spacer installed.
1) how did it effect your fuel economy? positively or negatively?
I saw a youtube video where someone stated that their v-10 f250 dropped 0.6 mpg with it installed. How is that possible?
Ive been looking at doing this to help my help my fuel economy. I also thought about the BB tune but I havent seen a tech support # toreach them.

If you have a 96+ year truck aka vortec its not going to help with anything. Only the tbi trucks. And in all honesty i have seen zero real world gains from them.

Edit. If you want fuel mileage gains. Drive more conservativly. Check timing. And a tune up, air filter, fuel filter, cap, distributor, wire plugs etc

thanks, that is what i thought. I didnt think it would help anyon my 99 hoe. Ive also thought about the BB tune. I know that would help performance wise but I dont know if there would be enough gain to out weigh the cost. I'm going to add headers to it first then go from there. I know the headers will help along with a good tune-up, oil, plugs, filters, and what not.
