I just bought a new 24 Tahoe RST with the 5.3 about 2-3 weeks ago and have noticed some lag in the gas pedal, especially starting off, my friend bought something similar for his Sierra 3-4 years ago however that brand doesn't make one for my Tahoe. Has anybody used this brand or a throttle controller and had a positive change?

Thanks,
DW

Banks throttle monster. I think it's the best on the market. It's disabled when in reverse and if it fails it will default to stock unlike most that will leave you stranded until it you remove it. Banks is also powered from the OBD port and not the pedal itself like most. Banks can be controlled with an iDash or an app on your phone.

I'm not familiar with throttle controllers, but I also have a 2024 RST and find putting it in 'Sport Mode' does a decent job improving throttle feel and keeping the transmission in a lower gear for longer. I have the 6.2 version and don't know if Sport Mode differs between the engine options though. I like it enough that I put it in Sport most days even just for normal driving, livens it up some. My prior Tahoes didn't have any kind of drive settings, so compared to those it's noticeable to me.

Would a throttle controller basically mimic Sport Mode full time, or be even more aggressive?
