Not one to ask many questions on here but I’m at a loss. 2004 tahoe, 221k I’ve had it the last 30k. Bought it needing a lifter, was just starting to tick. Got it home and replaced cam and all lifters. Running great and suddenly had a slight tick at rear bottom of engine. Only does it when warm and only does it in neutral and park. Put it in gear and rev it up it’s quiet. No loss of power, doesn’t burn oil, no metal in oil, got all new plugs and wires to verify. No check engine light, anyone had this before? Thanks

I had a tick noise like that once, turned out a bolt had come loose inside the torque converter. wasn't loud but it was annoying
have you put it on a rack and confirmed it's the engine? looked at the flex plate?

Cracked flex plate would be my guess, but seeing the crack might be tough. Seems like how bad the noise is equates to how easy the crack is to find.
