Depends on the offset you want to run. I have 20x9 -10 with 275/60 and I have rubbing.

My buddy has lvl kit and have 285/65/20 on his truck no rub with a offset in the 30s

I've had lots of 275/60/20 on stock 20" rims with no rub at all.

He probably went with the stock offset which is in the +30 range. I went with a -10 so my tires were flush with the outside of my suburban.

This is the easiest explanation I could find quickly.

If you plan on lifting more than the keys you plan on doing and going with some kind of spindle lift most of of them require a back spacing of 4.5 inches. So that is something to consider when you are looking at rims. That's why I got my rims.

So do I need to put a lift on my truck or can I just raise it with keys?

In those pictures I have the Rough County leveling kit. So that is keys, 3/4in rear spacers and shocks.
