sounds close, mount and balance and possible road hazzard warranty...sounds rigt on to me...

That doesn't seem too far off for a Mud Terrain, even at that size, but you can probably find them a little cheaper if you dig around. You could probably shave off a third or even half of that by simply going to an All Terrain instead. At least he didn't show you some 35" Mud Terrains, your ears might have fallen off at that point :)

Firestone does give you lifetime balance and rotation of the tire... I bought some destinations and they have over 50,000 miles on them. They probably have 10,000 miles left, but they are sitting in my garage .

I paid less than $800 for a set of 4 Firestone Destination A/T's in 265/70-17's mounted, balanced and taxed. 15's for that much cash sounds high.

I dropped a little over $900 at Sears for a set of 35" (315/75 r 16), and that wasn't including mounting and balancing... (dude who put the lift on my truck did all that for me). And that was one of the cheaper prices I found...

painting my stockers as we speak. gloss black, i never realized how easy it was to prep them. the paint sticks real nicely. after all 4 are done, im going to make a tough decision if i should switch or not.
