Hey fellas, been a while.

So on my way to work I noticed I had a nail in one of my tires, I need to replace soon anyway so I need suggestions for tires.

I am currently running 285/50/20 with no issues. 'Hoe is 4wd.

I'll be going with the Cragar Soft 8s, 16x8. 5" bs

I won't be doing any off roading, normal driving with some trips to the snow. I'd like to stay close to the size I am now, but it's not a big deal.

Suggestions/part number for the lug nuts would be appreciated also.

Haha I figured I left you giys with enough information that I could take a vacation. Not much, just been working, usual shit.

Sooo after much googleing and searching, I came upon Brandon's 'Hoe and his winter look. Which is more than likely the route I will take. Now, just gotta save up or put it on my credit card.

Got these:http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?pc=33614&counter=4&ar=75&rd=16&sw=false&cs=285 for my '96, in a 285 flavor..... wife needed shoes on her Expedition more than I did on my Tahoe, so she got 'em (she drives the kids around, they come first).
I'm still running around on these http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?pc=44530&counter=5&ar=75&rd=16&sw=false&cs=285, and while they ride extremely smooth and quiet, I haven't gotten the 60K out of them, I'm at about 43K, and maybe can squeeze another 4-5K on 'em before they are unsafe. I bought them for the warranty, and DTD warrantied the expected life vs the actual life, applied the pro-rated amount towards the purchase of the Kumhos. Can't go wrong.

Absolutely LOVE the Kumho's on her Expo!
Meaty, aggressive, while still being an AT. Not loud at all, running at 45psi seems to be the best.

Discount tire is THE CHEAPEST PLACE I've found anywhere for tires, and they have free shipping. I mean, ANYWHERE, I searched for a good month before I bought. I ordered the Yokohamas on my 'Hoe mounted on some MB Blitz's, they mounted and balanced them for free, too. I highly recommend getting the tire replacement certificates for $20 each, DTD replaced TWO of the Yokohamas after I put gashes in the sidewalls at work, no questions asked.

BUT, Sears has their prices beat, all depends on if you catch them when they are having a sale, and have to pay sales tax or not. If you do, mention to DTD that Sears has them for less, DTD will meet their price.
And, believe it or not.... the 305's are cheaper than the 285's at Sears!!! http://www.sears.com/shc/s/Compare?storeId=10153&catalogId=12605&viewItems=24&sortOption=PRICE_LOW_TO_HIGH&partNumber_1=09556857000P&partNumber_2=09556856000P&prodCount=2

Sorry J, they're quite a bit more than that, depending on the size:

I was looking at tirerack.com and I am sure someone has them cheaper than the google search you did, which on one of them was canadian, if he looks around. The p sizes are about $155 and the lt versions are $206 on the discount site you mentioned it will be a choice of weather or not to get lt or not. I did ssee some lt for about $160 to $184

If I go with 285/75/16, will I have any rubbing issues? The backspacing on the wheels is 5". IIRC the backspacing on the stock wheels is 5.5"? I should be good right?

I didn't do anything to mine when I bought my wheels and tires from DTD, I had the choice of -6mm backspacing (stock), or +25mm (1 1/4" or so less than stock). Wanting to push my tires out for better handling, I chose the +25mm, with the 285/75 Yoko's.

In retrospect, I probably should have gotten the -6mm. I had to turn my torsions up a good 1 1/2" to clear the fenders with normal street driving, and to clear everything during MINOR off-roading, I trimmed the front bumper and the rear of the fenders.

I would have to say 1/2" less backspacing should clear with only slight adjustment of the torsions, if you haven't already turned them to level it out. No serious off-roading, you should be good.

i know you wanted the Soft 8's, these are similar:
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findWheelDetail.do?bp=6-139.7&yr=1996&pc=52192&counter=1&wd=16&rw=8&vid=013978

you can get them mounted and balanced at DTD, don't know if they do it for free anymore, but it would be free shipping.

Pair 'em up with these Yoko's : http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?pc=43529&counter=5&ar=75&rd=16&sw=false&cs=285

you've got a 50K rated combo for about a grand.
