To change or not to change tranny fluid.

I jut did a pan drop and filter change recently. Wasn't to big of a deal. Just DONT do a flush.

Same for me. I did a pan drop, changed the filter, and replaced the 6 quarts at 120,000mi. The fluid was brown, but didn't smell burnt at all. We have put about 5,000 miles on it since with no problems, and the fluid is now red.

I am glad that I changed it.

I do mine every 30k, I'm due for it on my 08 now......at 62k now

Drop the pan, change the filter, put it back together.
