Work up late for my dr appointments, called and had them rescheduled so i went outside to jump inside the HOE and come to find out it wont start..

The fuel pump is turning on , it should have gas since i drove it yesterday and it was just above quarter of a tank. And other than being parked outside all night and having it rain on it , only thing i can think of is something with moister ? Really need help , since im at a loss right now .

Any and all help is greatly appreciated .

Truck is in park, and it sounds like the truck wants to start , but the more i crank it the more the dash lights start to dim and so forth

The battery isn't the issue just had a tow company use a jump pack, it wants to start and you can smell fuel . What it sounds like it's doing is the truck is backfiring sorta due to the flooding of the fuel being as i keep trying to start it . Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

spray a LITTLE bit of starting fluid in the TB and crank it and see if it will start if it doesnt then you are getting no spark.... IF it starts then its your fuel system.

FWIW a jump pack never started my truck before. A high compression V8 needs a lot of juice to start.

Any codes?
