I have one of them tech2 thingys. I have 3 handheld scanners, still got my old snap-on MT2500 “red brick” scanner, my HPTUNERS can do minor stuff but the tech2 is a handy little diagnostic tool. I agree, start playing with it and you’ll figure it out easily.

FWIW, if it were me, I would remove the valve springs, pull the valves, have the heads magnufluxed and surfaced, at the very least lap the valves and install new seals. But it’s your time and money and we all know the heads were fine before the bearing failure. It’s just what I would do because my motto is, “I’m right there”.

I was playing with the Tech 2 yesterday on my van. Seems like it's gonna take me awhile lol.
I'm just gonna run the heads the way they are--what could go wrong :eek: lol.
