No use I know of for that old stock 6.0 cam. I have one myself, it’s a garage ornament at the time. So he hasn’t found another motor yet and you don’t know who’s paying for it?

I just thought someone would've liked the stock cam--no biggie.
This current motor came out of an 03 Silverado--but all the 03 parts I bought don't fit, only 02 parts fit. I'm thinking it came from a very early 03--which most likely used a left over 02 motor. It's an LQ4.View attachment 257782
It did go well with him. We talked about 20 mins. I reminded him that he's had it for 4 months and I don't want to be put on the back burner again.
This BTR cam us the exact same spec'd cam that was in my old motor, and it was AMAZING lol!

EDIT--I just realized there's 666 in the motor's vin! Found the issue lol :confused:
Unless I'm misunderstanding why can't you use the parts you bought. 02 or 03 shouldn't matter. The only thing that should maybe make a differnce is the pistons reguarding valve clearance.
