I hate to say it, but I’m guessing he’s hoping that you are gonna say “screw it, I’m taking it someplace else”. I just don’t think he’s telling you the whole story and it’s actually worse than what you’ve been told.

Even being a side job, your still a paying customer. The guys that I work with do side stuff, trust me they would have had you running in a couple days, tops.

I totally believe it.

Everybody here has your back, just wish there was a way for us to help out. Other than being a little more forceful and giving him a deadline, I’m not sure what you can do, other than taking it someplace else.
